MH370 : Audio of final contact with missing Malaysia Airlines plane played in public for first time '

More potential wreckage has been identified, according to Malaysia's acting transport minister.
“We are aware of a report citing the detection of potential aircraft wreckage in the Bay of Bengal,” says Hishammuddin Hussein.

"China and Australia are also aware of this report. Malaysia is working with its international partners to assess the credibility of this information.”

The international air effort to find MH370 is now at an end after 52 days as the likelihood of wreckage floating on the surface has diminished massively.

600-plus members of the military from various countries who were involved in the search for the Boeing 777 posed together for a photo this morning.

They will leave the Royal Australian Air Force Base Pearce near Perth in the coming days.
The search of the sea bed will now intensify and cover an area of 60,000 square kilometres over six to eight months.

Malaysian officials have played a recording of the final conversation with people on board Flight MH370.

"Malaysia three seven zero contact Ho Chi Min 120.9, good night," says a radar controller in Kuala Lumpur.

"Good night Malaysian three seven zero," answers a crew member.
