National Best Friend Day is August 15, so it’s time to celebrate that one person who knows all your secrets, helps you get ready for a big date and tells you when that bathing suit just isn’t working for you. In honor of this day, we’ve found some famous stars who have reached BFF status. Friends costars Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox, childhood pals Matt Damon and Ben Affleck…take a moment to appreciate the companionship and camaraderie that comes with being a best friend.

From the television show to real life, Courteney Cox and Jennifer Aniston have been best Friends from the very beginning. Jennifer often talks about how Courteney’s frank and outspoken nature shocked her when they first met, but from that open friendliness a friendship developed that has withstood the test of time. The gorgeous gal pals haven’t been on the small screen together since Jennifer’s guest appearance on Dirt, but that may change soon enough with the premiere of Courteney’s new show, Cougar Town.
