NHL Playoffs 2014

First-round series schedules announced by Canadian networks

Carey Price will have to be sharp against Steven Stamkos and the Tampa Bay Lightning.
The Canadian networks have divided up the first-round NHL series but CBC has only one Canadian team to feature this year.
The national broadcaster will be showing Tampa Bay-Montreal and Pittsburgh-Columbus from the East and has St. Louis-Chicago and San Jose-Los Angeles in the West.
TSN, in its final year as a national NHL broadcaster, will have Boston-Detroit and New York Rangers-Philadelphia in the East and Anaheim-Dallas and Colorado-Minnesota from the West.
The first round begins on Wednesday with Montreal in Tampa for Game 1. CBC’s lead crew of Jim Hughson, Craig Simpson, Glenn Healy and David Amber will work that series. CBC’s Punjabi crew, Harnarayan Singh and Inderpreet Cumo, will also broadcast that series.
Below is the CBC telecast schedule for the first round. All times Eastern; Game 5-7 in all series are if necessary.
