Salman Khan Gets Clean Chit in hit and run case

OMG! Salman irked Kat yet again

After witnessing the latest turn around in the infamous 2002 hit and run case involving Salman, there remains no doubts about the fact that 2015 has proved to be the luckiest year of Sallu Bhaai''s life.

Earlier it was ground breaking success of his last cine flick Bajranji Bhaijaan and now his acquittal from the infamous hit and run case of 2002.

If recent reports coming from the tinsel town are something to go by then they suggest that Bombay High Court on Thursday acquitted the Bollywood actor of all criminal charges that he had been held guilty of by a trial court in May.

Reports further suggest that prosecution did not establish its case against the actor beyond a reasonable doubt as is required under criminal law which eventually led to the acquittal of the actor as the court narrated its verdict keeping in view the "unexplained and glaring anomalies" in the evidence.

Delivering the much-awaited verdict, Justice A.R. Joshi said that the actor "cannot be convicted" on the basis of the evidence produced by the prosecution in the 13-year old case and trial.

Virtually dismissing the prosecution case, Justice Joshi said the "prosecution failed to establish the charges (against Khan) on all counts" and that "it had failed to prove that Salman was drunk or driving" at the time of the accident, which left one pavement dweller dead and four others injured.

It is also pertinent to mention here that, Salman approached the Bombay High Court after he was sentenced for 5 years by a lower court in May this year.

Khan, clad in a dark-checked shirt and jeans, heard out the verdict without emotions after he rushed here from a shooting schedule in Karjat, adjacent Raigad district following the court's directive.

Most family members, including his father Salim Khan, his sisters, brothers, friends and fans were present when the judgement was pronounced.

Well after seeing this latest development in this infamous case we can conveniently say that now this icon of millions will finally have a sigh of relief after undergoing a tormenting agony for 13 long years.
